Grid & Dot

When I like a trend, I immerse myself in it completely (see polka dots and scallops). Grid/check patterns are my newest infatuation. There is something about their symmetry and simplicity that make them a perfect complement to other patterns and colors.

Since acquiring this Grid Pattern Georgette Shirt from Forever 21, I also added a Banana Republic graphic print skirt to my closet and I can see myself wearing both until they tatter and fray.

Along the same vein, I also love all the checkerboard patterned clothes inspired by Louis Vuitton's spring 2013 collection (link redirects to LV's website and has sound and moving image...I wouldn't click on it at work). I would like to add a mod dress in that print to my closet this Spring and am currently eying this Mini Dress in Checkerboard and this Sleeveless Dress in Check Print.

Are you on board with this square-pattern trend?
