Trench Coat and Pleather Pants

March 23, 2013

Warm weather can't get here soon enough but, in the interim, I am treasuring every moment that I get to spend with my cold weather favorites before packing them away for the spring. Remember the dark brown pleather pants I bought a while back? They were on my shortlist for a WIFW post but I simply haven't found time to buckle down and take pictures for a post. I hope I stay infatuated with them because I have a lot of ideas for how I might re-wear them.

In shopping news, Brooks Brothers is running a fantastic sale on f/w styles. From now until April 1, use your Brooks Brothers card for 25% off your entire purchase (or 15% off without a BB card). I splurged on a Lambswool Polka Dot Sweater (I wore a hole through my Forever 21 sweater), a Quilted Lambskin Medium Flap Bag (smaller version here) that is now 62.5% percent off with the promotion (I was initially unimpressed with the bag but a few trips to the store changed my mind), and picked up an extra for my mom. I also took advantage of the discount for my dad who is a loyal fan of Brooks Brothers shirts and pants. The account that holds funds I allocated for clothes took a pretty hit because of this order but I hope it's worth it.
