SewPetiteGal Peplum Skirts (in Mint Chevron and Map of the World)September 11, 2012
SewPetiteGal is a blogger I've always admired and envied. I am handicapped when it comes to sewing so I really look up to people who alter and make their own clothes. Imagine my glee when, on her maternity leave, SPG decided to expand her Etsy store to accommodate growing demand for her custom work.
A week later I received another message from SPG with news that the fabric can be used to make the skirt and soon after both skirts were on their way to me. SPG was so kind to include some nautical trinkets with the skirts (as she shares my love for all things anchor) and information for how to care for and wash the skirts.
The skirts are made to order (you can even specify the length of the peplum) therefore fit perfectly and the removable peplum makes it extra versatile. SPG was so kind to offer me a friend discount and the skirts are worth every penny and more.

The chevron print looks great with bright colors as well as neutral ones.
