Chevron Top + Forever 21 ReviewAugust 15, 2012
I am still chipping away at my Forever 21 store credit and have discovered a few gems lately, including this stretchy chevron top.
The slight peplum flare is very flattering on women who need a little bit of boost in the curves department and the chevron print is an interesting pattern to observe.
Forever 21 top + skirt, Prada bag, and Jimmy Choo shoes
Here are a few items that I ordered recently but decided to return because I was indifferent about them.
Box Pleated Button Back Top - the color was a pretty peachy color but the box pleats in the front were sort of cheap looking in person. The sleeve length was appropriate for people with shorter limbs (like me).
Scalloped Lace Dress (sold out online; top version here) - I had been ecstatic about this dress while it was en route to me but on me it was just a little too shapeless to warrant keeping. The lace was also substandard-looking relative to some other F21's lace offerings.
Sheer Hidden Button Shirt - my favorite part of the top is the embellished tie neck straps but the mint green color sort of made my skin look sallow. The sleeves were also inches too long so return this shirt wasn't a difficult decision.
Solid Skater Dress with Belt (sold out online; similar here) - I had ordered this dress because of its similarity to the Milly Addison Puff-Sleeve Dress which I owned (and subsequently lost/misplaced). The dress fits ok but the color was a mixture of dove gray and light taupe which I didn't love.
