OOTD: Fate Leads The Willing, And Drags Along The ReluctantOctober 10, 2011

My local Ann Taylor rarely receives any shipments containing items in 00P and XXSP so it was a surprise to me when I spotted this Glazed Lace Pencil Skirt (which had sold out online in this size a few weeks ago) in 00P. I had been admiring this skirt (from afar) since it was reviewed by Extra Petite so I took "finding it in my size" to be a sign.
Recently styled (perfectly, might I add) by Extra Petite here. My photos were taken mid-afternoon and were overexposed; the color of the skirt as shown in her photos more closely resembles how it looks irl.

And in continuing my "thanks for reading" giveaway (congrats to Ali Y. for winning the RVCA belt), next up on the list is this Express High-Waist Hook-and-Eye Pencil Skirt (I wore mine here). I had bought duplicates of this skirt but really have no need for a second. The skirt in 00 fits similarly to skirts in 00 regular from retailers like Ann Taylor and LOFT. It's a tad loose on my waist (about 24") but it's truly a workhorse skirt.
